Sustainability Consultant’s and Code for Sustainable Homes Assessor’s.

We are currently working with a large number of Housing Associations spread across the NE and as far afield as London providing Code for Sustainable Homes assessments ranging from Code level 3 up to Code level 6 - The highest level as set by the government and the aim for all new housing by 2016.

We also provide sustainability advice and guidance from the pre-planning stage onwards with respect to material and system specification and renewable energy technology choice.

Construction Industry Supply Chain Consultants

Already recognised as leaders in our field we work regularly with a number of high profile clients. We request opportunities to be involved with projects from a very early stage, providing assessment and assistance on product related design and performance issues, delivering innovation at every opportunity.

Market research & identifying new solutions.

We work closely with specialist manufacturers, looking at launching new products into the UK market, carrying out market research, creating specification opportunities and locating trial projects.

Project Management/Clients Representatives.

Providing guidance to clients on small to medium sized projects. Taking them through the design and planning process to outright Project Managing and co-ordinating interface between the specialist manufacturers and contractor on site.

Value Engineering

Off-site construction or traditional build? A contentious issue but one we are requested to look at on a regular basis. As champions of off-site construction we often take on VE exercises to assist clients to make decisions one way or the other.

BREEAM and SAP advice

Although not BREEAM or SAP Assessors we work closely with a number of specialists who can provide detailed assessments and guidance.

Supply Chain Partnering Framework Guidance

As Supply Chain Consultants we have carried out a number Supply Chain Management exercises leading to rationalisation of suppliers and Partnering Framework Agreements.

Liaison with specialist manufacturers – overcoming clients design issues

Taking clients design issues to the specialist manufacturers to provide solutions – sometimes resulting in the development of new products/systems.

Advice on Off-Site manufacturing solutions

As champions of off-site solutions we often find ourselves involved in providing guidance and advice on the use of Timber Frame, Light Gauge Steel Frame and Modular Building Systems. We work closely with a cross section of specialist manufacturers across the UK.
